Guided tours summer 2025

Take the opportunity to join a guided tour of Vänersborg Museum! 

Learn about the history of why Johan Adolf Andersohn built a museum in Vänersborg and how it came to house a thousand African birds. Why is there an alligator among the Nordic animals? And is it really true that the genuine sarcophagus contains a fake mummy? 

The tour is held in Swedish at 13:00 and in English at 14:30 all open days during the period Sunday 22/6 - Friday 8/8 and it lasts about 30 minutes. 

The tour is included in the museum entrance fee.

Adults: 70 SEK / Annual pass 140 SEK  
Under 20 years and students free entry.
